The Superior Fruit Innovations™ (SFI) is a new licensing model developed by the University of Minnesota to give direct-market orchards access to its top-performing fruit varieties. For the first time, varieties bred by the same team that created Honeycrisp, SweeTango®, and First Kiss/RAVE® are available to orchards of all sizes - not just large commercial growers.
This program is designed with you, the grower, in mind. Made for direct market growers - whether you operate a U-pick orchard, farm stand, or sell through local markets SFI gives you the opportunity to stand out. Our apples and grapes deliver superior texture, flavor, color, and cold hardiness - qualities that consumers recognize and come back for.
